Leonard is a Partner at Citron Hennessey. He is extensively trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy and Reality Therapy. Leonard focuses on the present, while helping clients to understand how past events and relationships may still be influence their thoughts, feelings and behaviors today.
Jody is a senior therapist at Citron Hennessey Private Therapy. Using a mindfulness-based approach, Jody works with individuals and couples to help them develop the resources and skills to make positive changes in their lives, as well as learn how to relate to themselves and others with more compassion and acceptance. She works particularly well with clients coping with the effects of developmental trauma.

She has experience working with issues regarding mood and personality disorders, bereavement, eating disorders, physical and cognitive limitations, and intersectional identities. Areas of clinical specialization include addiction and substance use, depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, and trauma/crisis intervention.
Alicia specializes in sexuality, intimacy, and relationship issues. She understands that it can be difficult to discuss such personal issues, and strives to promote a collaborative, non-judgmental environment for individuals and couples to address challenges such as loss of desire, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, delayed ejaculation, infidelity, compulsive or addictive sexual behaviors, mismatched desires, sexual identity, sexual trauma, and painful sex.
After earning her Bachelors degree in both Film and Psychology, Alyson went on to earn her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Brooklyn College. Alyson has experience working with a broad range of issues including: depression, general and social anxiety, bereavement, self-esteem, and life transitions. Her strengths and focus are on treating romantic relational issues, eating disorders, and working with new parents post-partum.
Ana is trained in both Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy and uses her knowledge to establish an honest and empathetic relationship while helping her clients discover new ways of thinking and behaving to lead to a more fulfilling life. Ana is experienced in working with adults with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues and is extensively trained in working with the LGBT+ community.
Ariel Bianca Brown
Ariel is competent in multicultural counseling and is trained in CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), in which she utilizes Mindfulness techniques to help clients manage challenging feelings and unhelpful thought patterns, while moving their lives in the direction of their highest values.
Ariel is comfortable working with individuals coping with identity issues, depression, general anxiety and perfectionism, and hopes to develop her skills in couples counseling
Chelsea is trained in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and takes an active, collaborative approach to counseling. Chelsea wants to help people determine their goals, find strength in their resources, achieve balance within the challenges they face, and excel in their own life and community. She promotes self-acceptance as a key part of one’s wellbeing and believes that therapy should be tailored to affirm each client’s unique identity.
Damien combines the experience and knowledge he gained in studying and teaching philosophy, working in the corporate world, and his training in Psychodynamic and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy to help clients improve self-awareness, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, goal setting, and ultimately to flourish. Damien is warm, respectful and collaborative. He works extensively with issues surrounding anxiety, depression, identity, life transitions, physical disability, stress and trauma.
Daniel uses an integrated approach to therapy to work with individuals and couples to see how their past experiences inform the way they think; and how those patterns of thinking can be changed and accepted to improve their lives and their relationships. He specializes in working with trauma, depression, and anxiety. He also works in areas of identity, gender, sexuality, and self-acceptance. Daniel believes that the most important aspect of therapy is the counseling relationship.
Juan Robles-Gil Alemán
Juan believes that finding meaning in life is at the root of experiencing long term happiness. Using an integrative approach, Juan can help you find ways to significantly improve your chances of attaining your goals, and help you cope better with life's intrinsic challenges. He specializes in procrastination, OCD, anxiety, depression, anger and trauma. He is bilingual English/Spanish and is sensitive to multicultural views with a deep understanding of making cultural transitions.

Melissa strives to create a safe space for her clients & believes that therapy is most effective in a collaborative setting, using different techniques to best suit the individual client.
She is able to cultivate a universal perspective that honors the mind, body, and spiritual aspects of her clients. She utilizes a variety of techniques, including Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as Feminist and Multicultural Therapies.
Mirjam strives to provide a safe, compassionate and collaborative space during therapy that lays the groundwork for increased self-compassion, self-empowerment and adaptability. She has experience working with a broad range of issues including: depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, and women’s health (pre/postnatal, infertility). She also provides behavioral parenting training (BPT) to parents as part of her research work.

Oonagh gained a Bachelor of Science in Professional Social Work, which led to an incredibly rewarding 10-year career in child welfare and fostering in London.
Oonagh moved to New York and graduated with a Master of Arts and Master of Education in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University. She is trained in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), and has experience in working with clients with trauma, depression, anxiety and attachment difficulties.
Tracey brings an integrative approach to her practice, utilizing Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy techniques along with insight drawn from CBT, existentialism, and mindfulness. Tracey believes in the importance of fostering a collaborative relationship with her clients, allowing them to take an active role in making the changes towards leading more productive and fulfilling lives. Tracey’s specializations include depression, anxiety and loss.
